Currently at her fourth year of teaching secondary voice lessons and voice class as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Elizaveta is experienced in teaching in both one-on-one and group settings. Her previous experience of working as a substitute teacher for special education schools and classes in Maryland has given her a unique perspective on working with students with psychological and learning disabilites. She teaches classical vocal technique with emphasis on proper breathing, placement, muscle separation and tension relaxaion, acting, and character development. A native Russian speaker, Elizaveta is always happy to coach her students on Russian classical repertoire, such as art songs and arias by Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, and others.
